A flash of light covered Hiroshima City, vaporising everything within 3km at the site. Approximately 70,000 people lost their live instantly that morning, approx. 60,000 people died from injuries and radiation in months to come, and many still suffer from radiation sickness today.
It was the first time in the history of mankind where many life perished in a blink of an eye. It was also the first time in the history of mankind where a nuclear weapon was used in a war. Code name "Little Boy", developed by USA during WWII with a destructive power of 16kilotons of TNT, was drooped from a B-29 Superfortress Enola Gay.

09 August is a day of celebration for the nation of Singapore as they celebrate their National Day. However, in Nagasaki City the exact same light blinded the people in the city and by the time they knew wat was going on, they were gone. Women, children, every living organism. 40,000 lost their lives instantly that morning, 25,000 injured and eventually died from their injuries, and thousands suffer from radiation sickness today.
It is hard to imagine how my hometown (well not really coz Hiroshima city is in the west and i live in the west end of the prefecture) was once in such devastating state. Who knows if radiation is still present from that day around that area (dont worry im not radiated).
Man have been fighting each other since the beginning. Over power, territory, religion, resources, and occasionally, Food. People who have power will want more power. People who have huge territory will want more. Religious people fight for wat they believe is right which could be false and hungry people fight for food as they are... hungry?
Present day, many nations around the world is still at war. At Iraq, Afghanistan etc. So the question is, "Will there be a day where the world is at peace without any war?". The answer is no. As long as man continue to sin and not realising that they are sinning against the will of God, there will still be war. Not only physical war but also spiritual war.
Figure 2: Fight for the prawn. An example of how hungry ppl fight for food.
Dear Father in heaven,
I pray that people around the world will realize how meaningless fighting against each other for things like power, land, religion, and food (?).
I pray that one day people like osama and bush will shake hand (thought it is impossible) and all nations abandon all the weapons that they have (why are they even necessary at the first place?).
I pray that they will realize that there are many things that they need to do to make the world a
better place rather then fighting each other and there are many starving and dying from sickness while these people are at war.
Amen
